Apple Light Green
label type-2. The rim print begins "ALL RIGHTS OF THE..." (capital letter)" This album has been direct metal mastered (DMM) from a digitally re-mastered original tape to give the best possible sound quality (maybe). DMM, Direct Metal Mastering, is a cutting system that replaces the lacquer with a disc comprising high purity copper plating on a steel substrate. "DMM" is a trade mark of TELDEC. In early 1969, all new Beatles releases switched to the Apple label. By April, however, Germany had become part of the European Economic Community (EEC). From that point on, all records, new and re-release, would be issued with the new EEC numbering system. Most albums from Abbey Road on feature the new numbering. For Domestic issue (Stereo only)
