COMMENTS
To promote the Meet The Beatles album and their upcoming first American visit, Capitol Records conducted the following interview with the Beatles. Discs of the recorded interview were then sent to American radio stations.

It was created to be an 'Open-end' interview, meaning that once the interview was recorded, the questions were edited out so that local disc jockeys could read scripted questions along with the recording to sound as if they were personally conducting the interview.

This promotional disc also contained 3 tracks from the album, This Boy, It Won't Be Long, and I Want To Hold Your Hand.

COMMENTS
Capitol opened its third pressing plant in Jacksonville, Illinois in July 1965 (Scranton P.a. and Los Angeles, Ca. being the other two). The factory's Midwest location gave the label a central shipping point, from the new "1 CAPITOL WAY" address.

To celebrate the opening, Capitol issued a "souvenir" extended play 7" record (SPRO-2905/2906) packaged in a picture sleeve that touted the $2.5 million doller facility as the "World's most modern record-pressing plant".
Initially, the factory only pressed albums. In August 1966, the plant was expanded to produce 8-track cartridges, with pressing machines for 45-RPM singles added in late 1968.
A new factory opened in Winchester, Virginia, in late 1969.

The front of which displays a color photograph of the new factory. the back has statements from top Capitol executives. The disc contains excerpts from songs by some of Capitol's biggest stars, including The Beatles' contribution "I want to hold your hand".
