COMMENTS
A German unique compilation, is a true rarity, its third edition was pressed in low numbers only, moreover, with a Columbia Label, an error record was reserved to the domestic market, it was published by EMI/Electrola, as one can read on the cover, too.
It's a Club-Sonderauflage, which translates to "Book Club Special Edition".
The World's Best ended a huge series of compilations made for and released in Germany, it's the last unique title on the market, first released in December 1967, along with three other compilations, namely "The Beatles" (Orange Odeon Impressum 6279), "The Beatles" (Red Odeon "Deutscher Schallplattenclub" H 052), and "The Beatles Great Hits" (Light Blue Fono-Ring SFGLP 77939) - all the four released in December 1967.

Housed in a fully laminated German-printed cover.
The printer's name "Druckhaus Maack KG, Lüdenscheid (*)" was printed at the right of the back cover.
"All My Loving" includes five taps a hi-hat just prior to beginning of the recording.

COMMENTS A German Record-Club-Edition
Released through EMI-Odeon Germany on the light-green Label from around 1982.

20 Greatest Hits is a compilation album featuring a selection of songs by The Beatles that were number one singles in the UK and US. It was released on 11 October 1982 in the United States and 18 October in the United Kingdom and marked the 20th anniversary of The Beatles' first record release, "Love Me Do," in the UK in October 1962. 20 Greatest Hits was the last Beatles album to be released with variations between the US and UK versions (some Beatles hits in the US were not released as singles in the UK, such as "Eight Days a Week" and "Yesterday").

Housed in a German-printed cover.

The printer's name "4P Nicolaus GmbH (*)" was printed at the bottom of the back cover.
(*) "4P Nicolaus GmbH" was a packaging company, located in Pulheim, Germany.

COMMENTS
Bertelsmann Club Edition.
German entertainment club system, where members can buy books, music and movies at a special price. The products they sell always contain a special Club catalog.
Vinyl releases could be identified mainly by the wording "Club Edition" - "Club-Edition", sometimes 'Club-Sonderauflage'.
The problem is, that also other clubs used this wording.
Especially 'Club-Sonderauflage' was common for Bücherbund or Deutscher Schallplattenclub.
CDs contain in place of the EAN/UPC a special barcode with Club catalog# and price attached.

Housed in a German-printed cover.
The printer's name "4P Nicolaus GmbH (*)" was printed at the bottom of the back cover.
(*) "4P Nicolaus GmbH" was a packaging company, located in Pulheim, Germany.
