    COMMENTS
George Martin's next UA project was, "by popular demand", an album containing instrumental versions of the complete score to the film A Hard Day's Night (mono UAL 3383 / stereo UAS 6383).
In addition to the four George Martin tracks from the soundtrack LP, the disc contains newly recorded instrumental versions of "Tell Me Why", "I'm Happy Just To Dance With You", "If I Fell", and "I'll Cry Instead (once again mistitled "I Cry Instead").
The record is rounded out with five tracks that previously appeared on Martin's first UA album: "I Want To Hold Your Hand", "All My Loving", She Loves You", "Can't Buy Me Love", and "Don't Bother Me".

The white background front cover features  multiple full images of each Beatle laid out in a pinwheel effect. These are the same images that appear on the backdrop behind the Beatles during the television broadcast segment of A Hard Day's Night. Each Beatle is tinted a different color.
The back liner features a picture of George Martin with the track listing.

Black label with the United Artists logo above the spindle hole."UNITED" is in gold and "ARTISTS" is in white. The upper perimeter contains a series of overlapping circles and solid colored circles in, from left to right, blue, gold, black, white and red.
